Crimson Note Heritage Concert

The Rochester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is proud to present the Crimson Note Heritage Concert. The event will feature world renowned opera soprano, Kearstin Piper-Brown and pianist, Leonard Hayes. It will also include performances by dancer Akasha Manning and pianist Epongue Ekille.

The Office of the Mayor, Lovely A. Warren, and WDKX are hosting the Inspiring Beauty, Empowering Young Women: The Mayor’s Red Carpet Affair during the Memorial Art Gallery’s Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair Exhibit.

It is going to be a formal red carpet experience for select young women in Rochester with Mayor Warren enjoying an evening exploring creative high fashion with free admission to the Memorial Art Gallery’s Ebony Fashion Fair exhibit. The evening will include hot hors d’oeuvres and networking with successful professional women from Rochester.

The Rochester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., supports the City of Rochester’s efforts in constructing a peaceful, non-violent demonstration of unity as we respond to the Grand Jury decision in the Michael Brown/ Ferguson case. We would like to encourage all community members to do the same. We not only want to rally against injustices nationally but we desire to create opportunities for discussion and community healing within our own city. Please join us at the Rally on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 1pm at The Liberty Pole as we march in solidarity with other community members.
