Soror President Melany J. Silas

The Rochester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., welcomes the 2017 year with focus and pride as we continue the 104 years of legacy of our illustrious Founders.  Our commitment to the Rochester community spans over 50+ years of Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service.

In the midst of a changing world, political climate and social and communal relations, the Rochester Alumnae Chapter is committed to meeting those challenges. We are committed to continued public service, social action education, programming and advocacy, youth development, and economic and financial planning. We are dedicated to our work of the Sorority as we implement programming that encompasses our 5 Point Programmatic thrust of our international vision.  We are passionate about the overall growth and development of the Rochester community and embrace the opportunity to work side by side with individuals, community organizations and companies to that end. We are grateful for the relationships we have built over the years and look forward to maintaining, sustaining and cultivating those relationships along with new ones. We are the CHANGE that we want to see! And so are you! We look forward to the opportunity to build TOGETHER!

 Yours In Service,
